Electronic waste forms a growing portion of the total waste discarded in the US. We accept a variety of e-waste products, including laptops, computers, cell phones, and more.
HOW IT WORKS
At Txalloy and Acme Iron & Metal, we’re working together with our customers to manage their recyclable materials and reduce the amount of metal going into landfills. That’s why we make it easy for our customers to get recyclable materials from their sites to our metal yards, and why we make the payment process as easy as possible. In fact, most customers end up getting paid by Txalloy or having their recyclable materials processed at a very low cost to them.

1. Contact our team for an on-site evaluation.
Our sales team members will visit your site and provide a no-cost consultation to determine what services you need.
2. Cost & rebate estimate.
Once we’ve seen your project, we can give you a quote on costs or on your potential rebates. We know our customers want to move quickly, so most quotes can be completed in the same day.
3. Choose drop-off or pick-up.
Decide whether you’ll bring your recyclable materials to our metal yard (in Creedmoor near Austin or in San Angelo) or if you need us to provide containers and hauling services.
4. Complete the process.
Once we have your recyclable materials on-site, we’ll weigh it on our scales (certified by State of Texas) and let you know totals.
5. Payment.
Generally, you’ll receive a payment from us based on the weight of your materials and competitive market rates. If we are providing hauling services for you, we can deduct the hauling charges from your payout to simplify the process. We can provide payments quickly and can pay on a daily, weekly or monthly basis if you’re bringing in materials on a regular basis.
